Yuzu (ゆず) è un duo giapponese di musica popolare. I suoi membri sono Kitagawa Yujin (北 川 悠 仁) e Iwasawa Kouji (岩 沢 厚 治). Entrambi i membri della band provengono da Yokohama nella prefettura di Kanagawa. In un primo momento, hanno cantato per le strade di Yokohama. Si conoscono da quando erano piccoli. Sono famosi per i loro concerti di fronte al grande magazzino, Matsuzakaya in Isezakicyo a Yokohama. Hanno debuttato ufficialmente nel 1997. Il primo CD è stato Yuzu no Moto. Sono amati tra gli uomini e le donne di tutte le età in Giappone.

Per essere stati cronologicamente fra le prime band del genere, e per la grande influenza esercitata su quelle a seguire, gli X JAPAN sono considerati i fondatori del Visual Kei.

1982年、千葉県館山市で当時高校生だったYOSHIKIとTOSHIを中心に結成。アメリカのヘヴィメタル/ハードロックバンド「キッス」に影響を受けた派手なルックスで日本では後に「ヴィジュアル系」と言われるロックの先駆者的存在とされ、後続のバンドに大きな影響を与えた。また、小泉純一郎元総理がファンの一人として知られている。

Gli shunga- 春画 è il termine giapponese che letteralmente significa immagini di primavera ( laddove primavera sta a indicare il "ricordo sessuale") , sono immagini a carattere erotico , si svilupparono nel contesto degli ukyo-e (stampe del mondo fluttuante) , raggiungendo la loro massima fioritura durante il periodo Tokugawa (1603-1867).Nonostante i divieti e le censure dell'epoca , gli shunga furono una componente fondamentale della produzione artistica di grandi maestri come Habunobu, Koryusai, Utamaro, Kiyonaga e Hokusai.Gli Shunga venivano generalmente pubblicati in libretti erotici, composti da 12 stampe, distribuiti da librerie ambulanti, essi avevano anche la funzione di educare alla vita sessuale cortiggiane e giovani spose.Gli Shunga sono inoltre ispiratori di una corrente letteraria piena di sensualità che si affermò in quelli che definiamo i romanzi del mondo fluttuante.Oggi lo shunga si veste di nuove sfumature , invadendo il mondo dei manga ( gli shunga manga) conosciuti come Hentai ( manga a contenuto erotico o pornografico).

Siam Shade è stato una band rock giapponese di cinque componenti che era molto popolare durante il periodo successivo alla rottura. Che irrompe nella scena visual kei accanto ad una moltitudine di altri artisti nei primi anni del 1990, godendo di un decennio di relativa popolarità sulla scena musicale giapponese prima di sciogliersi nel 2002. Fuori del Giappone, Siam Shade è meglio conosciuta come la band che ha eseguito "1 / 3 non Junjou na Kanjou", uno dei molti temi che termina di Kenshin, una popolare serie anime.

Siam Shade was a five-piece Japanese rock band which was quite popular during their post-breakup period. They broke onto the visual kei scene alongside a multitude of other artists in the early 1990's, enjoying a decade of relative popularity on the Japanese music scene before disbanding in early 2002. Outside Japan, Siam Shade is best known as the band who performed "1/3 no Junjou na Kanjou", one of the many ending themes of Rurouni Kenshin, a popular anime series.
